A redesign of Steve Ditko's classic characters Hawk and Dove.

I tried to stay away from superhero pinups for a while but I got issued a challenge by Spidey from the Penciljack Boards, 'cos he wanted to redeem himself after the ass-whooping I gave him in a Clownface draw-off a while back, so anyhoo... I'm drawing buff men again.

Anyways, I've gone the 'Ultimate' route with these two characters, never liked the original costumes, they looked more like figure skaters than superheroes, I gritted them up some what, and tried to bring a bit of practical realism to their outfits.

haha...I have no idea who these two are, but they look pretty badass =D

I'm gonna guess that blue is Dove...I like his mask. But I like red's little metal things at the end of his er...tail things... =P

You gonna hand him another beatdown, dude. I dig your comic colouring as opposed to the painted style you been doing this year for some reason. Not because the latter is bad but this really suit's your linework. No textured bg?

This redesign reminds me of your Spawn piece fused with the random ninja. You knew you couldn't avoid buff bods. Real nice.

Thats pretty cool. Always thought these guys were a bit too poncified. way to go making them more relevant.

Dude this remake is better than the original, the old designs looked a little power rangerish but these make hawk & Dove look bad ass good work

Sweet, I am a fan from way back and Hawk and Dove were always awesome. Your redesign has an awesome new look and feel to classics. Ever think of doing a redo of Mark Shaw the 80's Manhunter?
